Where Southern Flavor Meets Family Tradition
With the opening of the restaurant in 1923, the History of Bozo's BBQ is a story of the Williams Family and the thousands of families they have served over the years. Each person who has ever eaten at Bozo's has their own memories of why it is such a special place. Whether it's a birthday celebrated here or stopping by "the old place down the road" on a trip to Memphis, Bozo's is always right here. No matter what special memories you hold about the restaurant, almost everyone would agree that it is the taste of the Bar-B-Q that has kept generations of families returning to Bozo's for years and years.
Bozo's has been a place for "locals" and "tourists" to gather and enjoy a hot meal, a place for some to sit and reminisce about the good ol' days for more than 100 years, and it is still a favorite spot for many. We have even had some famous friends dine with us on their way through town, and we were featured in the 2005 "Walk the Line" featuring Reese Witherspoon, who has dined with us at our bar.

A barbecue restaurant that has been around since 1923, for 102 years. We take pride in our traditional, yet unique, barbecue techniques and continue to serve the same barbecue that you loved back in the 1920's. Not much has changed here at Bozo's. We still use our family's recipes and our specially-made, handcrafted sauce and rub that we have been using since we opened!

A Building With A
Story
Whenever you visit Bozo's, you are visiting the building that our family built in 1950, after the previous building across the highway suffered a fire. This building soon became a popular spot for locals and tourists to stop by, and the same environment that it encompassed then is still present today in the decor, the food, and the hospitality.
